“The Beach” – Final Part

Salam and good day

It was a long due entry on the Final Part of my Krabi trip since i was so busy with my reception for my hubby side in Johor and moving to our new crib. And Alhamdulillah and syukur that everything are on track. And not to forget to my silent reader of mine who has been emailing and YM me on the Krabi info, check your mail guys.

Basically, on our 3rd days, we took Phi Phi Island Tour from the local agent and choose Ao Nang Orchid and the price is really reasonable. Please mention that you guys are from Malaysia. I really looking forward for this island tour since it will covered Maya Bay and Phi Ley Bay. These are the highlights of the trip.

Let the photos do the talking

Our new friends from Germany. We are the last couple to be in the boat and they send us directly to the front deck of the speed boat. Luckily semua kat front deck yg happening jek. We really enjoyed it!

null
Open sea area where we’re heading to the Viking Cave. The most famous cave and they are people living in the cave.

Entering the Phi Ley Bay. The most beautiful lagoon in Phi Phi Ley. How i wish I can swim there as well. Ignore Brad, our new friends from US and he got married with a Thai. This was his first trip back to Thailand to visit his in law family.

Us at Phi Ley Bay. Taken by our boat guide. Credit to him. By the way, do bring enough sun block. Panas sangat2! Tengok la betapa gelap nyer kitaorang nie. Ngalahkan boatman dah!

Maya Bay where the film location of The Beach starring Leonardo Di Caprio. Again, I’m speechless. Clear water and not to forget the beautiful soft white sandy beach. It has been voted as 10 most beautiful beach in the world. Put off your flip flop and feel the sand. You will love it.And too much skin here! Hubby mata melilau jek.

We couldn’t snap much photos on this trip since there are a lots of pit stop compared to 4 island tour. This is the recap of the trip – Ao Nang Beach – Viking Cave – Phi Ley Bay – Maya Bay – Lohsamah Bay (Snorkelling) – Phi Phi Don (Main Island) – Monkey Beach (Be careful with the wild monkey there) – Hin Klarng (Open Sea Snorkelling, love it soo much) – Bamboo Island – Back to Ao Nang Beach

We’re planning for our next trip! Anyone?

P.S: Wanna wish Big Congrats to my sis in law on her flying colour STPM results and for being the best student in the school.

“The Beach” – Part 2

Salam everyone,

Writing again about “The Beach” and this time is about the 4 Island Trip compliment by our resort. You can get this trip from the Travel Agent at Ao Nang. If i’m not mistaken, dalam pamphlet they will stated around 1400 Baht (equal to RM140) but you can always nego with them. Normally for Asian people, they could reduced it to 700 to 800 Baht and this is what most local people told me so. And for European, they always charged around 1200 Baht. Sorry guys! Same goes to other trip as well. Hehehe. This is the price thay you have to pay for being whites.

The 4 island trip will covered Tup Island, Chicken Island, Poda Island and Phra Nang Cave. This is just a small island around Ao Nang area. And they will stop by at some of the snorkelling spot. But i preferred the snorkelling spot at Lohsamah Bay and Open Sea snorkelling (this will be covered in Phi Phi Island Trip). Will update soon on this! The best part to be in the boat is to know and meet up new peoples all across the world! That was the best part!

You can walked in between these 2 islands and the boat will just stop in the middle. Amazing huh! Air in between island ni cetek jek. Around knee length!

Chicken Island. Can you see the stones which look like a chicken head.

Poda Island

Floating Restaurant i could say which can be found at all this small island

This is the Phra Nang Cave where you can find a Buddha Statue in the cave. They even have a small resort here. Heavy rainfall in late afternoon. Weather seems to be unpredictable here even though they said that this is the best times to discover Krabi. When we’re squatting at one of the shade, we talked to one of travelers there and he told us that experience such heavy rainfall when they were on their way to Phi Phi Island. Hoping that we’ll be having such a sunny day the next day! Insya Allah.

And we do rent a scooter from our resort and we took  the bike all the way to the Krabi Town.  Kena marah with my hubby since Krabi Town from Ao Nang is 25 minutes away.  I decided to get to Krabi since both of us dah tersilap isi minyak and isi PENUH which cost us 80 Baht. Rasa rugi nak return back to the resort with the petrol yang still penuh. By the way, just wanna share with you guys that the scooter rental is just 200 Baht = RM20 and the rental is for 24 hours. How cheap is that!.

Will update “The Beach” – Final Part. Obviously it will be on the Phi Phi Island trip which i heart soo much! Masih tak dapat lupakan the water and the beautiful beach there.

Catch up with you guys later.

“The Beach” – Part 1

Salamz everyone,

The Beach Part 1? Is there going to be another part? I sendiri tak tau. Maybe i just caught up writing because i got too much photos on my memory card and i was talking to myself that there it will be a series. I was in Krabi, Thailand for my honeymoon early Jan this year. My hubby can’t wait for the trip. Actually, i was discussing with my hubby (once upon a time, he was my fiance) during our engagement period on our honeymoon. I really heart island so much as if i got a license in scuba diving jek. My choice will be Krabi (Thailand), Boracay (Phillipines) and Maldives. And obviously he will opt for the cheapest one kan? Which is Krabi! And as usual, i’ll browse through the net on the review for self arrangement on the holiday. Booked my own flight ticket, hotel and tour.

I managed to booked Sunda Resort (owned by Muslim) which is much more better for us. I really heart their canal side room. Thanks again to Sandha, Assanee, Yah and Nana for the hospitality. They have make and early arrangement for our honeymoon suite! We laughed out loud when we walked into the room. And IMPRESSED too! And we’re so amazed on how they fold the towel into swan, elephant and etc! Sayang betul nak bukak!

Right after that, we went to the Tiger Cave Temple which is nearby to the airport. It is one of the most famous temple in Krabi and we don’t spent so much time there since we have to climb the staircases. En Hubby kata penat. And sama macam Batu Caves. We decided to walk around and to stay away from all the monkey. Monyet-monyet kat sana agak liar la jugak. Haih. And the surrounding area are under construction where they will expand their temple.

Late afternoon, perut dah mula bising dah and we decided to go to Ao Nang beach to get some dinner and strolling down to the beach. Luckily it was just a small stretched of street but pack with small shop, kiosk, restaurant, stall and etc. We walked up to the mosque where a lots of muslim restaurant there. Tak susah nak carik halal food in Krabi since most of them are muslim. I was amazed on one of the gallery here which is FRIEND Gallery. They have a tonnes of collection on canvas painting. Cantik giler and they took such a little time to complete it. And most of them are young talented teenagers!

“The Beach”

Salamz everyone

I’m now updating my blog from the pc at the hotel receptionist. Will update the blog once i’m back in Malaysia. Can’t wait for the 4 island hopping and the Phi Phi Island Trip for the following day. Just touch down here in Thailand and i don’t think i have much time! 4 days is too short for such activities back here in Krabi.

I enjoyed it so much. Just came back from strolling down the Ao Nang Beach.
